CBP Announces Date and Agenda for Next COAC Meeting

In a Federal Register Notice published on November 21, 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC) will conduct its next quarterly meeting on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

In addition, CBP outlined the agenda for the COAC meeting. Topics that will be covered include:

  • Antidumping/Countervailing Duty (AD/CVD) importer compliance,
  • Development updates for an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) web portal, and
  • United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) Chapter 7.

CBP will also be accepting public comments for this meeting. Comments must be received in writing no later than December 8, 2023. The webinar link and conference number for virtual attendees will be published by 5:00 p.m. EST on December 12, 2023.
