BIS Announces Next Round of Steel and Aluminum Tariff Inclusion Requests

In an update to the regulations.gov website published on October 7, 2025, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) published 95 requests for the inclusion of new subheadings under Section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum derivatives.

This is the second round of inclusion requests BIS has made for Section 232 steel and aluminum derivatives this year.

Comments on the 95 requests are due by October 21, 2025, and BIS has 60 days to review and consider before announcing their decision.
