As of Friday, disruptions and work slowdowns have been noticed at the ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach, Oakland, Seattle, Tacoma and Hueneme.

On Sunday, TTI, the largest terminal in Long Beach, advised truckers that it will close for both day and night shifts on Monday.

The ILWU and the PMA have been negotiating the new contract since May 2022. Discussions on wages, safety, automation and pension benefits are on-going. The situation is fluid and can change at any time.
