After a brief period of lockout, the British Columbia Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA) and International Longshore and Warehouse Union - Canada (ILWU – Canada) have come to a tentative agreement (subject to ratification). The lockout has been lifted and the longshore employees will resume operations at 1630 on May 30, 2019.
