Amidst the current social clearance situation, if any sporadic cases are reported, “fast, accurate, and managed” emergency response measures will be implemented.

Shanghai will continue to carry out “nucleic acid + antigen” combination testing to adjust the “3 Risk Areas” according to the screening results. The final release date is subject to further notice.

Starting from 12:00am on April 2nd, people leaving Shanghai need to show a negative antigen test result within 24 hours and a negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.

Shanghai officials announced the next steps of the prevention and control measures, which are divided into “three stages”:

1st Stage: From now to May 21st, orderly opening of “precautionary areas” to keep a lower level of social activity.
2nd Stage: May 22nd to May 31st, continue to narrow the scope of “Controlled areas” & “Locked-down areas”. Implement normalized prevention and control measures and classification management.
3rd Stage: Jun 1st to mid/late Jun, fully resume normal production and life with normalized prevention and control management.
