Shanghai Covid-19 Update: June 13, 2022

As of 10:00am June 13th, Shanghai reported 58,073 positive cases (11 new cases) and 591,466 asymptomatic cases (26 new cases) since March 1st, 2022.

According to an official government announcement, Shanghai is now at the 3rd stage of the resumption plan. Shanghai has re-opened as of June 1st and fully resumed normal production and life with normal prevention and control management. The latest Shanghai city-wide PCR test took place on June 11th & 12th, with no impact on the Shanghai resumption plan as scheduled.

Starting June 1st, Shanghai will require a valid nucleic acid test report within 72 hours or a nucleic acid sampling certificate within 24 hours to take public transportation or enter public places.
