Shanghai Covid-19 Update: April 8, 2022

As of 10:00am April 8th, Shanghai reported 4,393 positive cases (824 new cases) and 127,424 asymptomatic cases (20,398 new cases) since March 1st, 2022.

There are 13 medium-risk areas in the city.

Starting from 12:00am on April 2nd, people leaving Shanghai need to show a negative antigen test result within 24 hours and a negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.

Based on city-wide PCR & ART results, Shanghai will publish the follow-up prevention and control measures. As of today, April 8th, we continue to follow government regulation to stay at home, release date is subject to further notice.
