Shanghai Covid-19 Update: April 7, 2022

As of 10:00am April 7th, Shanghai reported 3,569 positive cases (322 new cases) and 107,026 asymptomatic cases (19,660 new cases) since March 1st, 2022.

There are 13 medium-risk areas in the city.

Starting from 12:00am on April 2nd, people leaving Shanghai need to show a negative antigen test result within 24 hours and a negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.

On April 7th, Shanghai city will continue to carry out the citywide nucleic acid or antigen test.  

Shanghai will publish the follow-up prevention and control measures based on the city-wide nucleic acid test result on April 6th. Currently, all still need to continue to follow the existing rules and stay at home. Release date is subject to further government notice.
