Starting from 12:00am on April 2nd, people leaving Shanghai need to show a negative antigen test result within 24 hours and a negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.

On April 16th, the Shanghai government issued the first guidelines for businesses to start returning to work. There are 666 companies on the white list. It is made clear that risk management and closed-loop management against this round of the COVID-19 pandemic are the main responsibility of these organizations. Over the past week, 70% of the 666 companies have resumed work and production.

Shanghai CDC authorities issued a document to further clarify code assignment management and work requirement rules for the “Shanghai QR Code”.

From Apr 27th to Apr 30th, Shanghai will carry out a combination of “nucleic acid and antigen” testing. The “3 Risk Areas” will be adjusted according to the test results.
