As of 10:00am April 12th, Shanghai reported 8,322 positive cases (994 new cases) and 211,491 asymptomatic cases (22,348 new cases) since March 1st, 2022.
There are 13 medium-risk areas in the city.Starting from 12:00am on April 2nd, people leaving Shanghai need to show a negative antigen test result within 24 hours and a negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.
On Apr 11th, the city government announced its classified follow-up prevention and control measures based on the rounds of citywide nucleic acid test results and risky levels. Local areas will be classified as “locked-down area”, “controlled area” or “ precautionary area”. The first detailed list has been announced in most districts, and the remaining districts will be announced one by one.
