Shanghai Covid-19 Update: April 11, 2022

As of 10:00am April 11th, Shanghai reported 7,328 positive cases (2,935 new cases for 4/8 - 4/10) and 199,143 asymptomatic cases (71,719 new cases for 4/8 - 4/10) since March 1st, 2022.

There are 13 medium-risk areas in the city.

Starting from 12:00am on April 2nd, people leaving Shanghai need to show a negative antigen test result within 24 hours and a negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.

On Apr 11th, the city government announced its classified follow-up prevention and control measures based on the rounds of citywide nucleic acid test results and risky levels, local areas will be classified as “locked-down area”, “controlled area” or “ precautionary area”. The first detailed list will be announced by each district later.

Domestic Rail Service was suspended except SHA-CAN/DNG lane.
