Terminals and ports are now open, but they are operating with severe backlogs and limited staff. Customs remains in a manual environment and we anticipate delays in the release process. Please continue to expect delays in all modes of transport.

Even though flight frequency has increased, there are still severe limitations in capacity to both general cargo and passenger flights as military and humanitarian aid continue to be prioritized. The industry continues to experience disruptions due to severe fuel and driver shortages.

Our San Juan office is open today, Monday, Oct. 2 with severe restrictions.

Although we expect the recovery efforts in Puerto Rico to span several months, the island is seeing steady signs of improvement. Support and recovery efforts have already positively affected cell service, roadways, and restoration of power. Five percent of the country now has cell phone service. The curfew remains in effect but has been altered to 9 PM -5 AM.
