Precautions on Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19): April 6, 2020

The United Arab Emirates and Pakistan announced extensions to each country’s nationwide lockdown.

United Arab Emirates
The government announced on April 4, 2020 a two-week total lockdown, effective all 24 hours per day. This measure is both an extension and expansion of the previous efforts undertaken in the UAE to fight the COVID-19 spread. 

Pakistan
On April 1, 2020, the government of Pakistan announced a two-week extension to its country’s ongoing lockdown, which is now set to end no earlier than April 14.
