The Chinese government banned the export of test kits and medical supplies by firms that are not approved by the National Medical Products Administration. 

Companies must demonstrate to Chinese customs that their products meet all relevant quality standards of the destination country. This new rule applies to companies looking to export any of the below products: 

• Test kits
• Face masks
• Protective clothing
• Ventilators
• Infrared Thermometers
