On February 15, 2020, Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the resumption of imports, exports and transport of goods through three sub-border gates between Vietnam and China. 

While Vietnam has lifted the quota of 50 trucks (in and out) per day, the market continues to experience prolonged cross-border clearance queues and delays caused primarily by the demand built‑up since past the week.
