The possible labor action by ILWU Local 26, representing security/watchmen workers at many LA/LB terminals, could impact cargo availability, terminal access, and container movement, potentially leading to increased congestion and delays.

The Pacific Maritime Association and ILWU Local 26 continue to be in active negotiation with a short-term extension in place. On November 4, both parties agreed to extend the deadline to Friday, November 6, keeping negotiations ongoing with federal mediators.

Should a stoppage occur after November 6, the following terminals would be affected:

    • APM Terminals (APMT) | W185
    • Long Beach Container Terminal (LBCT) | WAC8
    • Total Terminals International (TTI) | Z952
    • SSA Marine / Pier A | Z978
    • SSA-related Shippers Transport Express | Z773
    • Pacific Container Terminal (PCT) | W182
    • OH 55 operations

Our teams continue to engage with our carriers and terminal contacts, and we will provide updates as information becomes available.
