Hurricane Michael made landfall on the Florida Panhandle of the United States, and is expected to bring extreme levels of wind and rain to many areas on the U.S. East Coast. For the most current storm information, reference the National Hurricane Center and the below resources.

According to the U.S. Coast Guard port directory, several ports are experiencing closures or restrictions. 

Port of Panama City: Closed

Port of Pensacola: Closed

Port of Mobile: Open with restrictions

Port of Gulfport: Open with restrictions

Port of Virginia: Open

Port of Jacksonville: Open 

Port of Miami: Open 

Port of Charleston: Open

Port of Savannah: Open

Airports

Some regional airports have suspended operations and many airlines have cancelled flights to and from impacted areas. View cancellations.
