The Canadian Pacific Railway was able to avoid a strike set to begin on April 21, 2018, by the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) Train & Engine and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) unionized workforces. Canadian Pacific is currently taking bookings while the TCRC and IBEW review and eventually vote on the terms of the railroad’s latest offers. A date for voting has not been announced.
