DP World Australia detected a cyber security incident on Friday November 10th and over the weekend took the necessary decision to suspend land-side access at their terminals to safeguard their employees, customers, and networks
Operations resumed at all four ports across Australia at 9am Australian Eastern Standard Time today, Monday November 13th, following successful tests of key systems overnight. DP World expect that approximately 5,000 containers will move out of the four Australian terminals today.
While port operations have resumed, it does not mean that the incident has concluded. Investigations and ongoing remediation work is likely to continue for some time. DP World advise the ongoing investigation and response to protect networks and systems may cause some necessary, temporary disruptions to their services in the coming days.
