USTR to Publish Section 301 Final Determination “In Coming Days”

On August 30, 2024, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) issued a press release announcing a delay in the final determination for the latest Section 301 tariffs originally scheduled to go into effect in August 2024.

The press release did confirm that the final determination regarding modifications of Section 301 was still being finalized and the results would be made public “in the coming days”.
