USTR Seeks Comments on Section 301 China Tariff Actions

On October 12, 2022, in a notice, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) issued a request for comments the Section 301 investigation of China’s Acts, Policies, and Practices Related to Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property, and Innovation. Specifically, USTR is seeking input from the public on the effectiveness of the July 6, 2018 and August 23, 2018 actions imposing Section 301 duties on certain products of Chinese origin in achieving the objectives of the investigation.

Comments will be accepted from November 15, 2022, through January 17, 2023.
