USTR Seeks Comments on Extending Certain Section 301 Exclusions

On August 27, 2021, in a Federal Register Notice, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) issued a request for comments on extending the exclusions for certain product descriptions under Section 301. The exclusions are for “certain medical-care products needed to address the COVID-19 pandemic.” The exclusions are currently scheduled to expire on September 30, 2021. Comments on the extension should be submitted by September 27, 2021.
