USTR Reschedules Special 301 Hearing

On February 22, 2018, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) announced in a Federal Register Notice that the Special 301 public hearing will now be held March 8, 2018.

The Special 301 provisions requires the USTR to identify countries that deny adequate and effective Intellectual Property Rights or fair market access to U.S. persons.

According to the Notice, the USTR will still publish its annual 2018 Special 301 Report on or about April 30, 2018.
