In a Federal Register Notice (FRN) published on March 7, 2024, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) requested comments for a public hearing that will “inform objectives and strategies that advance U.S. supply chain resilience in trade negotiations, enforcement, and other initiatives.”

The FRN goes into detail about the purpose of the public hearing, the specific industries the USTR wants to hear from and the requirements for submitting a public comment. The USTR prefers comment to be submitted electronically through the Federal eRulemaking Portal found at https://www.regulations.gov/.

Comments must be submitted by April 22, 2024, and the public hearing will he held on May 2, 2024.
