USTR Requests Comments on Section 301 China Tariffs

On May 3, 2022, in a notice scheduled to be published in the Federal Register, the Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) initiated the four-year review process for the tariffs imposed on goods of Chinese origin under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974. USTR is seeking comments and requests for continuation from “representatives of domestic industries which benefit from the trade actions.” Comments on the July 6, 2018 trade action can be submitted between May 7, 2022, and July 5, 2022. Comments on the August 23, 2018 trade action can be submitted between June 24, 2022, and August 22, 2022.
