On March 31, 2023, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) released the 2023 National Trade Estimate Report. This report provides “a comprehensive review of significant foreign barriers to U.S. exports of goods and services, U.S. foreign direct investment, and U.S. electronic commerce in key export markets for the United States.”
The report is published annually and covers trade barriers in a variety of areas, including:
- Import policies;
- Technical barriers; and
- Intellectual property protection.
