USTR Issues Exclusions for Medical Supplies

On March 6, 2020, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) issued a notice announcing exclusions on products of Chinese origin subject to the fourth round of Section 301 tariffs.

The exclusions cover eight ten-digit subheadings of medical supplies including certain soap, medical gloves and apparel, and surgical drapes.  They address 59 separate exclusion requests.

  • 4015.19.0510
  • 4015.19.0550
  • 4818.90.0000
  • 6210.10.5000
  • 6307.90.6090
  • 6307.90.6800

These exclusions are retroactive to September 1, 2019 and will be valid through September 1, 2020.  They can be claimed under 9903.88.39.
