USTR Extends Certain Section 301 List 3 Exclusions

On August 6, 2020, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) issued a notice extending specific Section 301 List 3 exclusions. These extensions include exclusions from various List 3 rounds, all originally scheduled to expire on August 7, 2020.

Extended exclusions cover 21 ten-digit subheadings and 245 product descriptions including:

  • Various types of freeze-dried fruit;
  • Various fabrics and textiles; and
  • Various pumps.

These exclusions will be valid from August 7, 2020, through December 31, 2020. They can be claimed under 9903.88.56. U.S. Customs and Border Protection will issue entry guidance and implementation details.
