USTR Extends Certain COVID-19 Related Section 301 Exclusions

On May 12, 2023, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) issued a notice extending specific COVID-19 related Section 301 exclusions. These exclusions were originally outlined in a December 2020 notice and were set to expire on May 15, 2023. Four exclusions have been extended in a transition period through May 31, 2023. 77 exclusions have been extended through September 30, 2023.

These exclusions can be claimed under 9903.88.66 through May 31, 2023, and under 9903.88.68 beginning June 1, 2023. U.S. Customs and Border Protection will issue entry guidance and implementation details.
