On October 24, 2019, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) issued a notice announcing additional exclusions on products of Chinese origin subject to the third list of Section 301 tariffs.
The exclusions cover 83 product descriptions, addressing 95 separate exclusion requests.
Product descriptions listed include, but are not limited to:
- Various textiles;
- Aluminum desktop stands for laptop computers;
- Certain drill bits;
- Various valves.
The exclusions are retroactive to September 24, 2018 and will be valid through August 7, 2020. They can be claimed under 9903.88.33.
