On May 14, 2019, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) announced additional product exclusions for List 1 of the Section 301 tariffs.
The exclusions cover five ten-digit Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheadings and thirty-five specific product descriptions.
The excluded products include, but are not limited to:

Outboard motors;

Forklifts;

ATM machine parts;

Certain pressure-reducing valves;

Certain pulleys;
-
Certain machinery for pumps;

Certain conveyors;
-
Certain AC and DC motors;
-
Certain remote control devices.
The exclusions will be retroactive to July 6, 2018, and will extend for one year after the publication of the notice.
