USTR Announces 8th Round of Exclusions on List 4 of the Section 301 Tariffs

On August 6, 2020, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) issued a notice announcing additional exclusions on products of Chinese origin subject to the fourth list of Section 301 tariffs.

The exclusions cover one ten-digit tariff subheading and 9 product descriptions, addressing 25 separate exclusion requests.

Product descriptions listed include, but are not limited to:

  • Certain decorative glassware;
  • Various parts of certain dust barrier systems; and
  • Certain digital optical image scanners.

The exclusions are retroactive to September 1, 2019, and they will be valid through September 1, 2020.  They can be claimed under 9903.88.55.
