USTR Announces 4th Round of Exclusions on List 4 of the Section 301 Tariffs

On May 11, 2020, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) issued a notice announcing additional exclusions on products of Chinese origin subject to the fourth list of Section 301 tariffs.

The exclusions cover three ten-digit tariff subheadings and five product descriptions, addressing 27 separate exclusion requests.

Product descriptions listed include, but are not limited to:

  • Certain Bluetooth tracking devices;
  • Certain tumblers; and
  • Certain disposable plastic identification wristbands.

The exclusions are retroactive to September 1, 2019 and will be valid through September 1, 2020.  They can be claimed under 9903.88.47.
