On April 21, 2021, in a bulletin, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) issued a request for comments on the “production, processing and distribution of agricultural commodities and food products.”

USDA will compile a report with the comments in accordance with Executive Order 14017 and “assess the critical factors, risks, and strategies needed to support resilient, diverse, and secure supply chains and ensure U.S. economic prosperity, national security, and nutrition security for all Americans.”
