USDA Increases Dairy Import License Fees for 2023 Quota Year

On August 3, 2022, in a Federal Register Notice (FRN), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that the license fee for “the importation of certain dairy articles” subject to a tariff-rate quota (TRQ) will be increased from $324 to $350 for the 2023 quota year. Each license authorizes the importation of “a specified quantity and type of dairy article from a specified country of origin.”
