On August 30, 2019, the government of the United Kingdom (UK) issued updated guidance regarding certain economic sanctions imposed by the UK.

Included in the updates are a “guide to the current consolidated list of asset freeze targets, and a list of persons subject to restrictive measures in view of Russia’s actions destabilising the situation in the Ukraine.” The UK’s Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) maintains the updated lists and now provides an OFSI Consolidated List Search function that allows interested parties to search for entities who are subject to an asset freeze.
