U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Delays Message Set Implementation

On September 8, 2020, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #43988931, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) announced that implementation of the FWS Message Set in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) is delayed until January 2021. This Message Set will be required for FWS regulated commodities. A CSMS will be issued when the specific date for mandatory submission is set.

The FWS Message Set is currently available for filers, and FWS recommends that filers submit if ready.
