September 2024 Antidumping and Countervailing Duties (AD/CVD) Updates
In September 2024, the U.S. International Trade Administration (ITA) announced several antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) determinations as well as investigation initiations. Details on these cases, including affected HTS numbers, can be found in the official notices linked below.
Preliminary determinations were published for the following:
- CVD investigation of alkyl phosphate esters from the People’s Republic of China (China).
- CVD investigation of ceramic tile from India.
- AD investigations of melamine from Germany, India, Japan, the Netherlands, and Trinidad and Tobago.
- CVD investigations of 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid (2,4-D) from the China and India.
- CVD investigations of certain epoxy resins (epoxy resins) from the China, India, the Republic of Korea (Korea), and Taiwan.
- CVD investigations of ferrosilicon from Brazil, Kazakhstan, and Malaysia.
Final determinations were published for the following:
- AD investigations of aluminum extrusions from the China, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the Republic of Türkiye (Türkiye), the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Vietnam), and CVD investigations of aluminum extrusions from China, Indonesia, Mexico, and Türkiye.
- AD investigations of aluminum lithographic printing plates from China and Japan, and the final determination in the CVD investigation of aluminum lithographic printing plates from China.
- AD and CVD investigations of ferrosilicon from the Russian Federation (Russia).
The following antidumping and countervailing investigation was initiated:
- AD investigations from corrosion-resistant steel products (CORE) from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, South Africa, Taiwan, Türkiye, UAE, and Vietnam, and CVD investigations of CORE from Brazil, Canada, Mexico, and Vietnam.
