President Removes India from GSP

On June 5, 2019, India will be removed from the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), according to a Presidential proclamation issued by U.S. President Donald Trump on May 31, 2019.

The proclamation also removes the exemption for India from the safeguard measures on solar cells and large residential washers.
