OFAC Removes Sanctions on Turkey

On October 23, 2019, the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced the removal of the sanctions imposed on October 14, 2019 in the Executive Order titled “Blocking Property and Suspending Entry of Certain Persons Contributing to the Situation in Syria.”

The Republic of Turkey Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Defence have been removed, as well as the three individuals that were included in OFAC’s original action.
