In a Federal Register Notice published on November 13, 2017, the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced the removal of the Côte d’Ivoire Sanctions Regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations.

On September 14, 2016, President Obama issued Executive Order 13739, terminating the national emergency and revoking Executive Order 13396 of February 7, 2006. As a result, OFAC is removing the regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations.
