On August 28, 2023, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) released the second episode of its “Introduction to OFAC” web series. According to the press release accompanying the first episode, the web series is meant to “provide viewers with a high-level introduction on the fundamentals of OFAC and sanctions implementation.”
Episode 1 was released on July 28, 2023, and it details the history of OFAC, its mission, and private sector partnership. Episode 2, released August 28, 2023, provides information on OFAC’s sanctions programs.
