TTB issued a notice of proposed rulemaking to make changes to their regulations regarding denatured alcohol and products made with industrial alcohol. The notice lists the following amendments:

The notice of proposed rulemaking is scheduled for publication on June 27, 2013. Comments must be received within 60 days from this date.

The second notice is a temporary rule regarding tobacco products and processed tobacco. The document amends the current TTB regulations by extending the duration of import permits of tobacco products and processed tobacco to five years, among other changes.

This temporary rule is also scheduled to be published on June 27, and will become effective 60 days after publication.
