On September 2, 2016 U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #16-000787 announcing that on October 1, 2016 liquidations will be required to be filed in ACE and may no longer be processed in ACS.
According to the notice, “Changes include new weekly processing and an electronic bulletin to replace paper postings.” A Liquidation Information Notice has also been posted to CBP’s website that covers all of the changes.
