CBP Announces EPA Non-Road Vehicles and Engines Pilot Open to All Importers

On August 16, 2016 U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #16-000712 announcing that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) pilot for Non-Road Vehicles and Engines is now open to all importers.

In a previously published Federal Register Notice (81 FR 13399) participation to the pilot was limited to nine importers. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has now approved that the data collection and encourages importers to gain more experience with ACE/ITDS in the EPA pilot.
