Mexico Repeals Export Automatic Notice Requirements

Posted by Arturo González on 7/23/25 4:59 PM

On July 18, 2025, Mexico’s National Commission for Regulatory Improvement (CONAMER) published a draft notice from the Ministry of Economy, announcing the repeal of the Export Automatic Notice. This notice previously required exporters to submit detailed information before shipping certain goods.

The Ministry explained that this decision was driven by unstable trade conditions and concerns that the notice requirement was adding uncertainty to export processes.

The repeal will take effect starting the day after its publication in the official government journal (Diario Oficial).
