Mexico Publishes Update to Free Trade Agreement with the Republic of Colombia

On August 11, 2021, in the Diario Oficial, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy published Decision 107 under the framework of the free trade agreement between the Mexican United States and the Republic of Colombia.   This decision provides a temporary exemption for certain textile materials produced or obtained outside the free trade zone to qualify for the preferential tariff treatment under the free trade agreement as originating material. The temporary exemption is valid from August 12, 2021 to August 11, 2023.
