Mexico Publishes United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement Uniform Regulations

On August 13, 2021, in the Diario Oficial, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy published the Uniform Regulations of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA, T-MEC, CUSMA). These address the interpretation, application, and administration of Chapter 4 (Rules of Origin), Chapter 5 (Origin Procedures), Chapter 6 (Textile Goods and Clothing), and Chapter 7 (Customs Administration and Trade Facilitation) of the Agreement. This set of Uniform Regulations replaces in its entirety the previous set published on July 9, 2020.
