On August 22, 2022, in the Diario Oficial, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy published the Agreement by correlating Commercial Identification Numbers (NICO) with the 2022 version of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule. The enforcement date will be 10 days after the Revenue Administration Service confirms all related trade systems are ready to operate based on the new codes. This must be done within 180 days of the June 7th announcement of the Law on General Import and Export Taxes in the Diario Oficial.
