Mexico Publishes List of Countervailing Duties to Expire

On October 10, 2025. the Mexican Ministry of Economy in the Diario Oficial published a notice to the trade the validity period for the countervailing duties that are set to expire during 2025 and 2026.

This notice is intended to allow importers to present justifications or make a case to extend the countervailing duties or secure commitments from exporters. The list includes countervailing duties for 37 products originating in China, India, Korea, Russia, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, and United States of America. Affected products include steel products, hydraulic jacks, zippers, ceramic tiles for walls and floors, and other products.

Comments may be submitted to the International Trade Practices Unit of the Ministry of Economy no later than 25 business days before the expiration of the countervailing duty.
